Company History
The company started its operations in January 1967 as a punch-card production plant “Sloka”. In April 1971, the name of the factory was changed to experimental research technical information carrier factory “Tehnoinform”. The factory produced punch-cards, punch-tapes and other paper information carriers. After the regaining of the independence of the Republic of Latvia, in August 1991, the company was transformed into state factory “Tehnoinform”, which served as the basis for the establishment of a closed joint stock company that was registered with the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia in April 1992.
The joint stock company is constantly developing and expanding its product range, as new sectors and products enter the market. In 2018, the turnover of the company reached EUR 14 million.
The total area of the company amounts to 15,000 square meters.
In 2018, we expanded our product range with thermal transfer ribbons, which enable us to provide thermal transfer labels (frosted, semi-glossy, polypropylene) in conjunction with the required ribbon — wax, wax/resin or resin.
